Mission:
Voice My Story, mission is to educate, empower, and enhance the quality of life of vulnerable teen mothers and young women, by helping to end the cycle of domestic violence and overcome serious life obstacles.
Vision:
Our vision is to build Metro Atlanta leading resources for restoration, empowerment, and holistic healing as we bring aid to people in need in our community.
When a person lives with violence, abuse, or dire poverty, they often suffer in silence, without any hope or vision for a better future. Often, finding the voice to reach out of that darkness and get help might seem impossible.
At Voice My Story we offer lifelines to help vulnerable people escape domestic abuse and other serious challenges within the home. Specifically, we support at-risk people of all ages and backgrounds who may be experiencing domestic violence, addiction, teen pregnancy, poverty, and other struggles, guiding them to find their voices and share their stories on the path to freedom and recovery.
Voice My Story was founded at the grassroots level by community leaders who care passionately about stepping in to aid survivors of abuse through education and empowerment to enhance their quality of life.
The crux of our work lies in helping people experiencing domestic violence in the metropolitan Atlanta area find an escape route from abusive situations and get a fresh start in life. As part of this, we offer a full suite of community services designed to strengthen the fabric of worn and distressed communities, bridge opportunity gaps, and equip underserved people with the tools of success.
We maintain a two-pronged focus on both life-saving interventions as well as prevention through education and empowerment. At our local resource hub and support center in Georgia, we provide assistance to anyone struggling to meet their basic needs for food, clothing, and shelter while offering job readiness training and placement, pro bono legal assistance, health and wellness education, and much more to lift up individuals and families.
In helping our most vulnerable individuals and families voice their stories, our ultimate goal is to rebuild and restore strong communities that foster health, happiness, and harmony.

From dismantling violence in families to providing job search assistance, we are a one-stop organization for resources and support tailored towards stabilizing families and individuals.
